What is a refurbished tablet?

A refurbished tablet is a device that’s been used by a previous owner, before being assessed and restored to full functionality by a team of ICT experts. They’re cheaper than buying brand new, with all the same features, functions and performance. 

Why should I buy a refurbished tablet instead of new?

Purchasing a refurbished tablet is a cost-effective way of enjoying the latest tech without the hefty price tag of buying brand new. They’re ideal if you’re on a tight budget but need a reliable device for work or study.

What does the refurbishment process include?

The process of refurbishing a tablet is thorough and efficient, including an inspection of all components, deep cleaning of the device, data wiping, and full repair of any faulty parts. The result is a fully functional tablet, ready to use. 

Do refurbished devices come with a warranty, and what does it cover?

Our refurbished tablets come with a standard 1-year warranty, which covers you against display issues, problems with the camera or speakers, and battery life below the minimum 80% threshold.

What do refurbished tablets come with?

Our tablets come with everything you need to begin using the devices, including the device itself and necessary power cables. The original box isn’t included, but the device will be securely packaged.

How’s the battery life on a refurbished tablet?

The battery life on a refurbished tablet is a minimum of 80% battery health, meaning the device’s battery capacity is at least 80% that of a brand-new model.

After purchase, your tablet’s battery life will depend on what you use your device for and how frequently you charge it.

What do the different grades mean for a refurbished tablet?

Refurbished tablets are graded either Grade A, Grade B, or Grade C, based on scuffs, scratches or faults the device has, post-reconditioning.  

For example, a Grade A tablet is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use. I.e. no scuffs or scratches on the screen, and no dents or dinks. 

A Grade C tablet is in fair condition, with moderate signs of use, such as minor scratches or dents to the casing, and light scratches on the screen that won’t be visible when the device is in use. 

In both cases, the tablet’s battery health will be at a minimum of 80%, meaning the device’s battery can hold 80% of its original capacity, compared to a new model.
