A refurbished laptop is a pre‑owned device that has been professionally cleaned, tested and restored to full working condition by our in house-experts. It offers the performance of a new device at a lower price and backed by our dual BSI-Kitemark accreditation.

Is there a difference between refurbished and second-hand laptops?

What does the refurbishment process include? 

Our process of refurbishing laptops securely wipes all data with Blancco, thoroughly inspects and tests hardware components, and repairs or replaces any faulty parts to ensure reliability. It also includes installing a genuine Windows operating system and deep cleaning the device inside and out before resale.

What warranty does it come with? 

Our refurbished laptops come with a 1-year warranty as standard, but it can be upgraded to a 2 or 3-year warranty in some cases, depending on the device and the grade. 

Can I configure or upgrade my laptop?

Yes, you can both configure and upgrade your refurbished laptop. You can enhance the memory (RAM), increase storage, choose your operating system, and add extras such as Microsoft Office, external keyboards and mice, and Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth adapters to create the setup that suits you best.  

What does the laptop come with?

The refurbished laptop comes with a power cable and a minimum 1-year warranty as standard; a longer warranty can be added if required. It will have genuine Windows 11 or MacOS installed, depending on the make and model chosen.
